Intermountain rating means lower fire insurance
Published 02/04/2010 – 11:11 a.m. A new and better insurance rating for the Intermountain Fire and Rescue Department could save some residents in that area $1,000 a year in homeowners’ insurance and allow others who have been uninsurable to get coverage.

Car loan rates drop, dealers eye recovery
THE Jamaica Used Car Dealers Association (JUCDA) has signed a deal with Scotiabank Jamaica, that will give its customers access to car loans carry interest rates of 15.95 per cent for the rest of this month, after which a rate of 16.95 per cent will be offered up to October.
